Aft through a private teak door is the guest stateroom with its large comfortable pullman berth to port, hanging lockers and vanity with custom storage to starboard. Continuing aft through the teak door is the main salon with a custom dining table that folds up against the bulkhead storage shelves. To port is an L-shaped settee that converts to a double berth. To starboard are two custom leather salon captain's chairs with table in between. Storage is throughout the salons' surrounding areas and the 6'6" headroom adds to its spaciousness and liveability. On the starboard side aft of the settee is a full-sized navigation station. Going aft on the port side is the 10 ft. long gourmet galley with abundant storage. Just inboard of the galley is the spacious soundproof engine compartment with its "ship-like" double latched doors containing all the ship's mechanical, electrical and fluid systems. Going aft is the door into the private owners quarters with its custom queen-sized centerline berth, mirrored vanity, hanging lockers, and several drawers and custom cabinets. Walking forward up the starboard side is the aft head with easy access to the nav station and cockpit. With high back supports built into the seats, her cockpit is more comfortable than most. The cockpit is arranged to provide the captain complete control with ease and efficiency for short-handled sailing. The innovative steering pedestal, designed with housings for a VHF radio, GPS and other electronics, allows important navigational aids to be mounted handily near the helm. All sail control lines and halyards are led to the cockpit for instance access. Compartments built into the coaming accommodate jib sheets so that coils of line won't clutter the cockpit. A swim ladder and boarding platform built into the transom make it easy to board from a dinghy or take a swim. The platform has its own hand-held shower so that a swimmer can rinse off before cooling on deck. Deck stowage space, a rare commodity on many center-cockpit boats, is abundant on the Caliber 47 LRC. Two deck lockers forward and two aft can accommodate items as large as an outboard motor or an uninflated dinghy. A sizeable anchor well at the bow features separate tackle compartments for two anchors. The anchor platform simplifies anchor handling. The Caliber hull is built with outstanding resistance to collisions at sea with extra layers of fiberglass at potential impact points. In case of damage to the bow or rudder, a Watertight Collision Bulkhead and a Rudder Post Dam are designed to minimize flooding.Vetus Bow ThrusterLofrans Progress 2 Windlass45# CQR with 60' 3/8 Chain, 250' 5/8 RodeFX - Fortress 55 AnchorShurflo washdown on bowTriple-Support Rudder SystemCustom Stern SeatsTwo large stainless steelDorades for ventilationCustom Hard Bimini with Dodger and full enclosure with screensDouble offset anchor rollersQuad-Seal Deck to Hull System Double-Lock Chainplate System Patented Multi-Bulkhead Bonding SystemCustom Extended Stainless Stern RailsCockpit CushionsTransom ShowerOverhead and Port ScreensCustom stainless coaming railingExtended custom railingsBow Thruster
Sail Area
IJPE 1014.50 sq ft
I 54.50 ft
J 21.42 ft
P 47.83 ft
E 18.00 ft
Working Sail Area 1014.00 sq ft(2) Lewmar Electric #54 Primary Winches, for the Genoa(2) Lewmar Manual #50 Winches, for mainsail & boomDoyle Roller Furling 110% GenoaSeldon Roller Furling MainsailCaliber Cutter Option (no sail)
Mechanical & Engine Equipment
Powerful Yanmar Turbo 75 HP Diesel EnginePatented Fluid Control PanelDual Racor 500 Fuel FiltersPatented (1 thru-hull) Safety Sea ChestCO2 Alarm
Electrical
Northern Lights 5 kw Generator Set (120 hours) with slide out accessHeart Inverter with Link 2000Perko battery combinersTwin 30 amp shore power cabling(2) Cruiseair reverse cycle air conditioners with digital control -(1) 16,000 BTU and (1) 12,000 BTU in sound proof engine room(1) Dedicated Gel Starter Battery(4) Dedicated Gel House Batteries(1) Dedicated Gel Bow Thruster BatteryBow & Stern electric hookup(4) Shore Power Cords
Other
Fairclough Custom Boat CoverDinghy
Disclaimer
The Company offers the details of this vessel in good faith but cannot guarantee or warrant the accuracy of this information nor warrant the condition of the vessel.
