Setting off from St Petersburg (Florida) in 2011, we met up with three of our youngsters in the sunny Bahamas for Christmas; for them, quite a contrast to sailing the wet and windy West Coast of Scotland, where they had grown up.
The Spectra water maker, manfully kept up with the water requirements! Traversing the North Coast of Cuba was a unique experience, as was the relaxing pace of life on Isla Mujeres, Mexico.
Wintering at the tiny Crow's Nest Marina in the heart of the Rio Dulce, Guatemala, in 2012 was perfect, and the decision to cross the Atlantic rather the Pacific was a good one.
Scooter made her Atlantic crossing with ease, and exploring the majestic Azores en route was an unexpected bonus. We were a cheerful crew of five to Crosshaven, Ireland, and then enjoyed the excitement of wintering in London.
Now, meticulously maintained and carefully upgraded by her previous three owners, Scooter is ready and waiting for further adventures with new owner on board.
