    Bering announces a $200,000 price reduction on Bering 70.

    Bering 70 is currently under construction (80% completed) and she is available for sale at $1,790,000 in turnkey condition. The current stage will allow the customer to choose the type of decking, exterior features: type of davit, passarelle, top coat color, as well as interior features including her owner's choice of tile, flooring, upholstery and many other. The completion of the boat will take approximately 3 months.

    Performance tests have been carried out in September 2015 when Bering 70 was sea-trialed and managed to reach over 12 knots at maximum speed. She's fast cruising at 10 knots consuming 8.4 gallons (31 litres) per hour and comfortably cruising at 8 knots burning only 4.2 gallons (16 litres) per hour providing a sea kindly ride and impressive fuel efficiency.

    Bering 70’s quick summary is: steel hull, composite superstructure, three stateroom layout + crew, varnished mahogany interior throughout the boat, Corian countertops, Seakeeper M16, Gyro Stabilizer, twin 305 HP Cummins engines, two 8 person life rafts, hydraulic crane,nav/com electronics package in the wheelhouse. She is a 24V boat with two Victron 5 KW inverter/chargers, 230 V, 50Hz, 63 amp shore power, 21.5 kW and 17.0 kW Onan generators.

    Electrical system

    a. Main features
    Entire AC and DC electrical system designed and installed in compliance with CE electrical standards.

    Orion 24/12-25A DC-DC converter.
    Primary distribution 220V AC and 24 V DC electrical panels, inverters, battery chargers, batteries and battery management panels are located in the engineroom.
