Kitchen Fishing: How to Catch and Cook 'Ocean Fresh' Fish

Intersailclub, the global sail travel website, recently released a video of Roberto Trapani (aka The Pirate Chef) shows off his novel technique of catching and cooking ‘ocean fresh’ fish.
The Pirate Chef calls this technique Kitchen Fishing, which he demonstrates aboard the SY Miaplacidus charter yacht on a journey between Formentera to Ibiza. Watch the video below to find out how its done.
So, once you’ve reeled in your dinner, and of course filmed the whole thing, you’ve got to cook. Luckily The Pirate Chef has shared his favourite recipe for preparing ‘ocean fresh’ fish.
Step 1 - Scale the fish.
Step 2 - Clean and gut the fish, making sure you remove the gills.
Step 3 - Baste the fish with salt and olive oil.
Step 4 - Season the inside of the fish with salt, white pepper and parsley.
Step 5 - Cover the fish in foil.
Step 6 - Cook the fish in the oven, allowing about 15-20mins for a 500gr fish.
Step 7 - Enjoy your dinner!
