Born with the name "Capo Caccio" this steel tug with alluminium superstructure, takes the sea in 1962. After proudly serving for many years, it was going for disarmament, a few years ago, altough still navigating, following to the last employment with a Monegasque Company. A passionate owner, by the way, has saved it and engaged it in a total and truly prolonged and expensive refit to transform it into the sole existing sample of explorer derived from tugboat, but totally converted to recreational standards. The decor and interior design has been developed by an Italian architect who also studied the distribution of "new" living paces, in order to be totally satisfying for a leisure use. What came out is a stunning 24Mt, Tug-heritage, full displacing, Luxury MotorYacht! The engine room is the true "pulsating heart" of this powerful and unbeliavebly solid boat: two MAN diesel (leasure engines) from 2009, 12V cylinders with reduced power to 900 Hp each , take place there and ensure full reliability and enough power to cruise at 10knts with little consumption, about 100 Lt/h, as well as three 220V generator including two from 75kw each (!) and a lot of hydroulics, mechanics, climate and most of the systems. The internal layout provides a large entry salon, galley in separate room w/side deck access door featuring full Miele hardware equipment, while at forward, on deck level, a VIP cabin with its bathroom (ensuite). At bow, lowerdeck, accessible by a staircase, two cabins with single beds and extra bed, also have private access to their respective bathrooms. An internal staircase leads then to the helm area, which has kept its vintage design into the console and the helm "old style" charactertistic rudder wheel. On this deck, there is also a fourth cabin, behind the helm, beautifully located overlooking the sea and with ensuite bathroom. It provides access to the upper bridge as well, where additional convivial and sun taking space is delivered addition tender lift area. Below deck aft, behind engine room we find an utility/technical room, while adjacent to the engine area, we have a Lundry/galley Storage area and two separate cabins with twin beds for the crew (4 total places). The addition of both a side electro-hydraulic bathing ladder and swivel/retractable hydraulic gangway that disappears in the transom delivers great safety comfort in boarding/bathing operation. This amazing, absolutely unique in its kind, unit , remains within 24 m in length overall (no leisure ship requirements). Ideal for fans of retro-vintage style, the vessel was recently reduced in its asking price. OWNER KEEN in SELLING, even by part-exchange in case. Please contact us to learn more!
