Today is a comfortable owner's version Catana rigged for West Coast cruising. She differs from almost all other 431s because she is fitted with the powerful 471 rig (I have sold only one other Catana 431 so rigged). The 471 rig gives her spectacular light air performance in areas like Southern California, Baja California and the Pacific Northwest where light air prevails. When the wind is light she is able to sail where others are motoring. When the wind gets up she is easily reefed from her central cockpit electric winch, to which all sail handling running rigging is led, and she flattens out and accelerates with aclarity. She is a tremendous cruising platform. Today has been primarily sailed in the San Juan Islands and between the Straits of Juan de Fuca and San Francisco Bay by her current owner. She is currently near Napa, CA and available for viewings at her owner's private dock. Don't miss the opportunity to own this well-kept West Coast Catana. Carpe Diem!
