This is an incredibly lightly used Catana 471. Her owner purchased her new in 2000 and she was Catana's showboat for the US East Coast in 2001. She sailed through the Bahamas, the Caribbean and the Panama Canal to Costa Rica and was then loaded aboard a ship from Costa Rica to Seattle. She has seen very limited sea time since. Her engines have less than 400 original hours! She has largely been used as a liveaboard by a marine professional in the Seattle area. She has hardly seen the tropical sun and shows very little UV damage. Cruising sailors rave about the qualities of Catana 471s and most have many miles under their hulls and the sunburn and scars to prove it. This 471 is just at the beginning of its service life. The hulls, decks, canvas, and glazing are in amazing condition compared to her tropical peers. She was hauled last year and had fresh bottom paint and saildrives serviced. This is a rare opportunity to purchase a very lightly used Catana 471 and fit for serious cruising. She is perfectly located in the Seattle area at the foot of the Inside Passage to Alaska and upwind and upcurrent of most of the Pacific. Will you take her cruising?
