well maintained blue water cruiser

The Conyplex shipyard in Medemblik certainly need no further introduction to experienced sailors. The Contest yachts are of high quality and built seagoing for the discerning sailor. The Contest 48 CS that we offer is of the 2nd owner. When building the boat, one of the foremost wishes the 1st owner was that the boat would be easy to maintain and systems are user friendly both when operating as also when in need of repair. This has proven to be a succesfull concept. "Lyra" is ideal for blue water cruising and long stay on board. This yacht has pleasant sailing characteristics and is easy to handle for a small crew.
The center cockpit is deep, clear and one is well protected behind the sprayhood. For sunny days in warm areas the bimini provides plenty of shade. The teak interior with green leather cushions is spacious and practical. Amidships is the living room and you will find again many examples of the great craftsmanship of the yard. Portside is the long practical kitchen with all modern conveniences such as microwave, refrigerator and freezer. Port side is also the navigation table with the necessary navigation equipment. The owner's cabin is in the stern with en-suite bathroom with separate shower cubicle. In the bow is a 2nd double cabin, a cabin with bunk beds and a 2nd bathroom. The engine room is large and the engine is accessible for service easily. The 100 hp Volvo Penta has proven to deliver sufficient power.
The Contest 48CS which we can offer is very complete and fully ready to go. We invite you to come for a visit in Porto Cristo Mallorca (Sp). Do you have any questions or want to make an appointment, do not hesitate to contact us via [email protected]
