The Cookson 50 incorporates a proven and reliable canting keel system with a single forward canard providing incredible reaching and running speed and great upwind performance.

This yachts name was orginally called "Wingz". Then she went to Norway and got the name "Al Cap One". Her present owner named her Camilla.
Comment by the owner
In 2010 she was equipped with a new Hall Spars mast and boom. Camilla has not been raced that much as the other Cookson 50's for sale. She has always been stored on land, indoors when she has not been sailed regatta with, and therfore she is in great conditions.
Camilla has also been maintained and upgraded all the way with, among other things, new mast, new boom, new hydraulic system and many new sails.
A boatsmanager was full time employed to maintain and upgrade her; so the boat is in other words very nicely kept.
The boat is fully equipped and sold with Special made cradle.

Carbon fiber and PVC foam core sandwich composite with varying density foam utilizedthroughout the hull and deck. The Cookson 50 hull and deck are built in female molds, assuring a fair hull surface with minimal fairing a good weight savings. Bulkheads, structural frames and longitudinal are constructed from Carbon/E-glass laminates with closed cell foam core. Reinforced in high load areas with carbon laminates.
