    Originally built by Jeremy Rogers at Lymington as the Contessa 38, over 25 have been built, 8 of which have been used as sail training yachts for the Royal Navy. The yacht has excellent handling characteristics with a long fin keel and a full skeg hung rudder and an encapsulated lead keel. A high ballast ratio of 49% gives good directional and heavy weather stability. 
    This STUNNING example was moulded in 1998 by North West Marine but not completed until 2008/9.  The standard of construction is easily enough to the scare off the Scandinavians and she represents the best of British boatbuilding.  A surveyor quotes regarding the fit out..........."in fact superior to many production boats of similar type."  
    She has full CE approval and VAT paid status.
