This Elan 340 has been well maintained & comes loaded with all the extras you could possibly want for cruising without compromising on performance. Designed by the legendry Rob Humphries as a civilised performance cruiser that doesn’t hang around, she has clean & elegant lines that make for a high performance hull & a cockpit that doesn’t compromise on space & ease of handling. Below decks, she once again offers an abundance of room with a very bright and airy feel created by her light wood joinery and dark wood flooring. The forward cabin is a good size and offers good headroom & luxurious comfort & the aft double cabins is also spacious and comfortable. Her saloon offers very sociable seating around the folding table with the ability to make into an extra double & she even has a forward facing well equipped navigation station. The galley is very seamanlike and has been designed with sailing in mind. It is fully equipped with gimballed cooker, large refrigerated cool box twin sinks and ample stowage for long distance cruising. She also has a good sized heads complete with hanging wet locker.
Despite this Elan 340 being built to maximise its speed, the Manufacturers have managed to incorporate a comfortable cruiser into the equation meaning that she oozes class, style & comfort. She has plenty of onboard space for safe & fun cruising with family & friends, but is equally at home as a very competitive racer. In our opinion, she combines comfort, ergonomic design, performance & designer looks to deliver unbeatable value for money.
