The truly stunning Fairlie 55 - a NEW Fife inspired spirit of tradition yacht which turned heads on the Cote d’Azur last summer. When reviewing the Fairlie 55, Yachting World commented “I can guarantee you will be enchanted with the Fairlie 55. She champions wooden boatbuilding skill and craftsmanship, and she sails beautifully” Toby Hodges YW. The new Fairlie 55 brings together decades of unmistakable Fairlie build quality, sparkling performance and exquisite finishing with a splendour that is clearly influenced by the designs of William Fife. For 20 years, Fairlie Yachts has built and restored over 20 of the world’s most exquisite and famous classic yachts. From legendary racing yachts such as Mariquita, Tuiga and The Lady Anne to elegant cruising yachts such as Kentra and Altair, Fairlie Yachts has been responsible for defining the current high standards for classic yachts worldwide.

The entire structure is laminated using West System Epoxy Resin and is finally covered with two thin layers of GRP for protection.

The deck is built from a layer of marine plywood grooved on the underside, and laid with 12mm thick, swept teak decking with a varnished king plank, covering boards and toe rail.
