A classic Freeman 22 with the famous eyebrow cabin front, stepped side decks and spacious cabin. Fitted with the everlasting Ford Watermota 1100cc Petrol engine. A perfect boat to begin family boating on the Thames, The Freeman brand has a terrific following and this is a tidy and original example.
Freemans are renown with their versatility and usability for all inland waterways, Tamone is no exception being a wide beam example with a workable fore deck, side decks that run uninterrupted to the stern with an amidships step down. The cabin tops feature full length handrails to the topsides and the boat is finished with all original Freeman fittings. The stern features a good sized cockpit again with original Freeman fittings covered by a recently replaced canopy and with a helm seat to port and rear seat for four, cabin doors are located to starboard.
INTERIOR FROM THE BOW
Two V beds with storage below, an overhead escape hatch and 4 surrounding windows, the bulkheads fitted with bedside lights and a storage shelf under the fore deck
FORWARD HEADS / WARDROBE
Located on the starboard side of the boat and fitted with a porta potty toilet, the door opens to the wardrobe on the port side which also opens to give a larger toilet space when in use.
DINETTE / SALOON
Located to port and featuring a large table which can be set as a table for four, removed and stowed against the boat side or make into a double berth. Beneath the seating forward are 2 drawers for storage and aft a large cave locker outboard with access to the engine inboard. Above the dinette is a hand crafted crockery and glass cupboard with cut outs for plates, cups and glasses.
The cleverly located and designed galley is situated to the starboard side with ample storage in 3 cupboards a sink with cold water supply and a full oven, grill and 2 burner hob all of which are hidden away beneath foldaway work surfaces.
