This LOCHIN 40 HARBOUR PILOT is designed for commercial operation, currently operating under an MCA 60m Class 5 and 6 Passenger Certificates for up to 35 passengers and 2 crew (next survey March 2020). Fitted with 2 x Caterpillar 350hp engines - recently re-built by Finnings UK Ltd. - she achieves a 15 knot service speed.

From forward - FORWARD CABIN / STORE with two 'teired' berths to Starboard with storage under the lower bunk. Anchor locker access. Enclosed HEADS compartment to Port with sea toilet. Bowmar hatch to: WHEELHOUSE with helm console to Starboard housing all electronic instrumentation, engine controls and monitoring panels, etc. The cabin is laid out with seating at the after part - both P&S - with a central access to the COCKPIT environment. There are two access points to the engine room and tank space aft. A framed canopy extends aft approx. 2m to 3m - providing shelter for the passengers in rough conditions. Rails and other fittings enable conformity with her current certificated status.
