    <p><strong><span style="color: #0000ff;">CANDELA</span></strong> is an extended transom version of the successful Swan 59 model.<br />Her counter transom offers greater LOA on deck, as well as additional storage space in the lazzarette aft of the helm. She also has an extra deck locker where most 59&rsquo;s have a &ldquo;well cockpit&rdquo; by the companionway.<br />Her shallow draft Scheel keel (draft of 7.2 ft / 2.2m) coupled with her hydraulic push button sailing makes her an exceptional short handed cruiser.<br />She had refit in 2001 and has had continued maintenance since.<br /><br />CANDELA was purchased by her present owner in 2004 from the USA.<br />They sailed the yacht in the USA and Caribbean.<br />The yacht has since been imported to Spain and used for family cruising in the west Med area.<br /><br /><span style="background-color: #ccffff;">SELLER WANTS THE BOAT SOLD QUICKLY NOW.     <p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Description from forward:</strong></span><br /><br /><strong>Fo'csle </strong><strong>with 2 pipe berths; a stainless &amp; teak ladder gives easy access to the deck via a large overhead sliding hatch (there are also steps in the bulkhead) and the ladder doubles as a swim ladder which may be mounted on the side rail; a stainless steel work bench unit is to port and there are drawers under the beds. A door aft leads to -</strong><br /><strong>The <strong>port head </strong>with a Lavac electric toilet, washbasin, hand-held shower, teak grating sole, mirror and lockers. Small overhead hatch. From there a door aft leads to the -</strong><br /><strong>Port Guest cabin</strong><strong>with locker unit and drawers forward; lockers outboard of top berth; lower single berth and upper Pullman berth; hanging locker; overhead hatch with curtain; side windows with curtains. Hella fan. Reading lamps. A door aft leads to the saloon.</strong><br /><br /><strong>The<strong>Starboard Guest cabin </strong>has a lower single bed and an upper Pullman berth. Lockers outboard of top bunk. Locker and drawer unit forward. Hanging locker. &nbsp;&nbsp;Overhead hatch with curtain. Side windows with curtains. Hella fan. Brass reading lamps. A door leads forward to the </strong><strong>private ensuite bathroom</strong><strong> with an electric Lavac toilet, washbasin, mirror, lockers, teak grating floor; hand held shower. Small overhead hatch. Door aft to saloon.</strong><br /><br /><strong>Note: the lower bed in each guest cabin pulls out and has a leg support to make the bed wider.</strong><br /><br /><strong>Saloon </strong><strong>which has an L shaped settee to port with a coffee table; lockers and entertainment unit above and outboard (with flat screen TV, Premier stereo unit, speaker switchover system and Starlogic DVD). At aft end of saloon on port side is a chest locker unit (bar / galley storage).</strong><br /><br /><strong>To starboard is a U shaped settee and a small centre line sofa.&nbsp;&nbsp;The teak dining table may fold out and the central seat may be moved further to port (allowing you to accommodate extra people to dinner if requied!). The table also features bottle storage in the centre. There are shelves and lockers outboard.&nbsp; Under the settee at aft end the storage is made into a filing area for boats manuals.&nbsp;&nbsp;</strong><br /><strong>Large overhead locker to saloon with curtain.&nbsp;&nbsp;2 x Hella fans.</strong><br /><br /><strong>The <strong>navigation station</strong> is to starboard with a lift up chest table with modified lid to house and use a lap top. As you enter the cabin, behind the door to starboard is a locker unit - (hanging lockers above and drawers below). &nbsp;&nbsp;There are two wide single beds, with a settee in between them (locker behind the seat). Lockers forward of the port bed.</strong><br /><strong>Central mirror on forward bulkhead and extra chart storage box. Sliding fronted lockers port and starboard of the beds. Overhead hatch with roller blind. 3 x side ports. Hella fans x 2.</strong><br /><strong>Ensuite private head</strong><strong>with Lavac electric toilet, washbasin, grating floor, hull port, mirror and lockers. Separate shower stall.</strong></p>
    <h3>Engine and Mechanical</h3>
    <p>CANDELA has now a TAMD 31P - HS45A engine (from approximately 2002 originally),installed in January 2012.The unit has approx 1600 hours at August 2012.<br />When this was installed the boat also received a new prop shaft.<br />(The old original engine was Volvo Penta TAMD31A, 114 hp at 3250 rpm, that had approx 6400 hours).<br />&nbsp;<br />The Max Prop feathering propeller was sent to the factory in Italy for reconditioning, 2012.<br />Range under power approx 1000 nm or 180 hours at economical speed of 6 knots.<br />Usual cruising speed approx 8 knots. Max speed under power approx 9 knots.<br />Fuel capacity, approx 900 litres in four tanks<br />Each fuel tank with own filter.</p>
