2015 Extreme Sailing Series Confirmed to Kick-Off in Singapore
Eight international venues have just been confirmed for the 2015 Extreme Sailing Series world tour. The competition will cover three continents, with the first ‘Act’ starting in Singapore from the 5-8th of February next year.
In conjunction with series organisers OC sport and Land Rover, the Singapore leg will be supported by Aberdeen Asset Management. The opening event of the tour will be hosted in Marina Bay, near Central Area south Singapore, east of the Downtown Core. After hosting the 2014 Series, the Southeast Asian cosmopolitan city will try to recreate the same excitement it delivered last year, as the fleet of Extreme 40s raced through the city.
2015 will be the Extreme Sailing Series’ 9th year, and 5th year as a global circuit. This year the Extreme 40s will travel to a variety of locations ranging from esteemed sailing venues, busy cities and potentially lucrative new markets.
The following seven venues will be revealed in the coming months.
