Sunseeker £32million yacht for Eddie Jordan revealed in Poole
Poole Quay, Dorset attracted a rush of media attention this week as the place where Eddie Jordan’s enormous £32 million Sunseeker motor yacht was revealed for the first time.
The Irish former Formula 1 boss ordered the largest luxury boat ever built by Sunseeker, and the world caught a glimpse of his brand new 155 foot, 200 tonne yacht as it moved at a snail's pace out of the boatbuilder’s shed.
The luxury boat had to be moved using a radio controlled multiple wheeled unit from its build shed onto the quay at Poole for the final fitting out.
The boat will have to spend at least two more weeks on the harbourside before it can be finally launched into the water.
Sunseeker has confirmed that another 155 Yacht is on order, but at the time of writing the details of the buyer are unknown.
Stewart McIntyre, Managing Director at Sunseeker, is quoted in national publication: “This is an extremely exciting time for Sunseeker as we inch ever closer to the completion of the 155 Yacht. This is the biggest project we have ever undertaken and since the announcement of its build it has been the talk of the industry.
“We are incredibly proud of what we have created and look forward to showcasing it to the world.”
