Do you want charter income now and a world cruising catamaran therafter? This is a rare combination in today's market where so many boats are built only for the charter experience. This Perry 43 is true cruising design that has proven a very successful in charter and bluewater. I have watched clients cruise Perry 43's from Alaska to the South Pacific and then back and then back again. And I've spent very comfortable time aboard sisterships enjoying the comforts and thoughtfulness of the Perry 43's unique design and layout. The design offers excellent seakeeping properties and thoughtful interior considerations for a global cruising couple and their guests. One of the secrets is a very 'galley-open' design where the line of sight has been preserved across the entire beam of the boat within the salon. This makes the galley down to starboard function extremely well when guests are in the salon and gives a sense of expansiveness unexpected in a 43. The salon is very good for entertaining and has none of the 'dinette booth' feeling. It is a practical and elegant living space. The hull to port continues the sense of expanse with a large cabin and head/shower forward creating a delightful owner's cabin definitely adding liveaboard comfort. Guest cabins are aft on port and both forward and aft on starboard, but expect to see guests in the salon/galley or in the cockpit! The interior connects to a large cockpit with secure helm and a smartly laid out deck. The cockpit can be easily enclosed by connecting the bimini and targa and can be snug or airy, shaded or bathed in light as the anchorage and season dictate. Perry built some of the best cruising catamarans in the world for decades. Seakeeping and safe control by a cruising couple have been halmarks of their design philosophy. Perry catamarans offer a moderate length/beam hull design that accelerates easily but still offers a good load carrying capacity. Bridgedeck heights are high as are construction standards. Resin infusion and foam coring were used throughout. Nemo is currently chartering in the Whitsunday Islands and is a very popular income producing late model catamaran. She is one of the last of the Perry catamarans who, unfortunately, closed shop after nearly 30 years of production. This is a great boat for an owner who wants a very capable and comfortable bluewater catamaran. She is currently in a good charter program and offers the option of continued charter income if your global cruising plansor retirement are a year or two away.
