    Remarks :
A great opportunity to buy a thoroughbred yacht.  'Rosita' offers the prospect of an exciting project to convert her to a luxury private or corporate yacht.  She offers classic lines and generous accommodation.  Please see the website of her sister ship to see what can be achieved - zenarasailing.com

'Rosita' was built for the Ocean Youth Club, now the Ocean Youth Trust, and was designed by Robert Clark being number five of nine.  Originally her purpose was to offer training for up to twelve under the age of 24 with a crew of six.  She held a Category 0 licence for anywhere in the world with twelve passengers and four crew until recently.

During her time with the Ocean Youth Club she was based in Scotland and was navigated around the Scottish Islands.  In 1979 she entered the Fastnet Race in a special class with all the other eight Robert Clark Ketches.  They all finished unscathed.  'Rosita' is a tall ship and has taken part in a number of tall ship races.

'Rosita's' current owner has completed many voyages in her.  Channel crossings to French ports and the Channel Islands.  A 2002 trip to the Baltic via the Kiel canal visiting Holland, Denmark, Sweden and Heligoland.  In 2004 she sailed to Spain, Portugal, Madeira, the Salvagem Islands arriving in the Canary Islands to take part in the Atlantic Rally for Cruisers which she completed with a crew of ten.  She visited Trindad, St Kitts, Antigua and the Azores in the following years. With a crew of seven she sailed from Horta in the Azores to Shoreham by Sea - this included three teenage boys and was a character building experience.

In recent years 'Rosita' has been based in Eastbourne and Shoreham by Sea.
