Elegant designed and fast sailing ship at a veru reasonable price.
When you are looking for a elegant designed and fast sailing ship at a reasonable price, this Show 34 could be the one for you. Build in Italy and designed by Doug Peterson, this Show is a perfect cruiser/racer.
The cockpit is practical and spacious, the instruments above the cabin entrance and the tiller steering give you all the ingredients for a beautiful day on the water. The instrument can been seen by the entire crew and the tiller gives you an excellent feel of what the ship is doing. Of course, the tiller can be put away for maximum space in the cockpit when relaxing at anchor or mooring.
The rigging, including the entire mast is replaced in 2007. The owner also up-dated the reefing system with a single line system that you can operate from within the cockpit.
Inside the ship you'll find a practical and spacious interior. It is basic but without the feeling you are missing out on something. At starboard is a large navstation with an open seabed behind it and at portside is the galley. Amidships is the saloon with at both sides lengthwise placed settees and a large table in the centre. Above the settees is at both sides a seabed.
In the forward section of the ship a large storage locker and the toilet can be found. In the forepeak is the sleeping cabin with a double V-bed. This double bed together with the saloon settees, the seabeds and the extra seabed at the navstation make it possible to sleep with a total of seven!
Al in all, a nice ship ready to sail with her new owner. She has excellent sailperformance and an elegant design that shows the obvious IOR racing influences.
