We sailed Jamboree from California, via the Panama Canal, to The Chesapeake Bay on the East Coast of the USA. We quickly learnt on this trip that, with just the two of us, we could easily manage Jamboree. She is a wonderful cruising vessel and one feels comfortable and safe, even in heavy weather. Although Jamboree needed very little improving, we made some enhancements to the the heads and master cabin and added new navigation equipment, a backup Autopilot system, a new windlass and additional spares and items necessary for long term deep water cruising. In the last 6 years we sailed Jamboree in the Mediterranean, mainly in Spain and Greece. We now sadly have to sell her because of family health reasons and hope that we will be able to hand her over to someone who will love her as much as her prior owners have.
