We have owned “Flamingo” from new buying her in December 1983, and have thoroughly enjoyed cruising her around the South coast of Devon with the occasional cross channel hop to France, Channel Islands and the Scilly isles.
Despite the length of our ownership she has been lightly used every year, always wintered ashore for 6 months and meticulously maintained.
She is easily sailed single handed and a good steady seaboat underway, engine is very reliable and has never missed a beat.
We have had 30 glorious years afloat with “Flamingo” but I’m now 77 years old and not too mobile, she will be greatly missed.
