Number of Heads 5 Showers 5 Cabin Heating Condaria Reverse Cycle Air Conditioning Condaria Reverse Cycle Colour Scheme White hull, Blue Trim Steering Hydraulic Drive Type Shaft Generator 2 x Onan 16 kW Registered Valletta Lying Palma Gross & Nett 74.72 Description as at end May 2008 THE MASTER CABIN is located amidships, reached via illuminated steps from the wheelhouse and is equipped with full width king-size bed, walk in wardrobe and ample stowage cupboards. En-suite to the cabin is a low-level bath tub with its own shower. There are separate toilets and wash hand basins on either side. The Master cabin is equipped with a CD / Radio in the Starboard bedside table, while in the forward bulkhead are a VCR, TV and a DVD. All this equipment was fitted new in 2002. The Air conditioning unit is fitted under the forward end of the bed with controls on the Starboard side. Overhead lighting is complimented by bedside reading lights on both sides of the bed. Like all the other cabin showers, this is equipped with an extractor fan. THE FORWARD VIP CABIN is also reached from the wheelhouse steps and is fitted with queen size double bed, two full height wardrobes and additional stowage cupboards and drawers. En-suite to the cabin is a bathroom with shower and toilet. A CD cassette Radio is installed in the Port bedside table (new in 2002), while the Air conditioning unit is mounted under the aft end of the bed with controls to Starboard. Like the Master cabin, lighting is both overhead and on both bedsides. The ceiling upholstery was renewed in 2002. Like all the accommodation this cabin is carpeted throughout. The motor for the rear of the two Bow Thrusters is located under the bed, as are the batteries (4 x 900 a/h, new in 2002) and charger for both Bow Thrusters. THE AFT GUEST CABIN is reached from the saloon via illuminate steps, and is equipped with two single beds, with fill in cushions to convert into a double. Two full height wardrobes compliment under bed drawers and side lockers to port, above the bed. A CD / Radio is installed in the bedside table with a TV to Port. The air conditioning plant is fitted under the Port bed with controls on the same side. The en-suit bathroom is equipped with toilet and shower, the latter being larger than normal, and has a sit down facility. THE CREW CABIN is forward and reached through a hatch on deck. A toilet and shower compliment two single berths. Stowage space is available under both beds and in a hanging cupboard. A Casette / Radio is installed. The Air conditioning unit is installed under the Port bed with the controls on the aft bulkhead. The starboard bunk was modified in 2002 to allow a wider berth. THE DECK LEVEL SALOON has seating on both sides and forward. It is equipped with an electrically raised bar and a dining table to Port which can also be raised and lowered electrically. A coffee table is located to starboard. Cupboards to Port house the Samsung TV / VCR, CD radio and DVD. All these electronic units were installed new in 2002. A mini fridge is fitted on the forward side. THE GALLEY, located to Starboard is fitted with the following equipment: 4 burner ceramic hob with overhead hood / extractor and full size oven underneath, full size fridge / freezer Balay (new in 2000), Candy automatic washing machine (new in 2002), hand vacuum cleaner and various electrical items, such as kettle, mixer, toaster etc. The lower level cupboards are topped by a marble look work surface, which houses the twin stainless sink units. High level cupboards house a full inventory of crockery while cutlery is stowed in drawers. A security door leads on to the Starboard deck. THE WHEELHOUSE is located forward of the Saloon with the wheel to Port, with the 4 lever Hynautic hydraulic engine controls immediately to Starboard. Navigational and communications equipment consists of: Riviera steering compass, Traine & Traine Mini M Satellite phone coupled to a Sagem Fax machine, 2 x Icom IC M1 Euro hand held VHF transceivers with drop in chargers, Shipmate RS 8110 VHF, Avon ERT 200 VHF (for restricted use), Robertson AP 200 DL Autopilot, Robertson Dataline colour chart plotter with 4 map cartridge automatic change over unit, Furuno SFS 3000 SSB receiver, Furuno 72 mile Radar, Furuno FVC 663 colour echo sounder, Colour monitor for engine room cameras (new in 2002), Furuno GP 31 GPS (new in 2001), Nasa Target Navtex (new in 2002), and B & G Focus echo sounder. Engine instrumentation is comprehensive, as is the engine alarm system. The main electrical systems for 24 volts d.c. and 220 v.a.c (shore supply, port and starboard generators) are controlled from a console to starboard, just ahead of the chart table. The 24 d.c. to 220 v.a.c. inverter is housed below the chart table. L shaped companion seating is located to Starboard and has stowage space underneath. The bookshelves and flag locker and the companion seats are upholstered to match the rest of the décor in the wheelhouse. THE ENGINE ROOM, reached from a spiral staircase in the after end of the Saloon then through a security door, is well laid out and houses the twin main engines (MAN 1,100 h.p each, the Port engine having been completely re-built and Starboard overhauled in 2001). Outboard and forward of the main engines are the two Onan 16 kW generators, which like the Starboard engine, were fully serviced in 2002, together with the air intake and outlet fans. The exhaust system was modified in 2002 and now exhausts under water, outboard of the gearboxes. The 4 x 6 volt high capacity bank of service batteries were renewed in 2004. The separate generator starting batteries (there is a separate battery charger for the generator batteries), are maintenance free, and are housed aft of the Starboard engine, while the high capacity engine starting batteries (new in 2002) are to Port. Amidships (against the after bulkhead) are the 3 Condaria air conditioning compressors. Above the compressors are the main pumps for the toilet system (an extra pump with change over valves is mounted forward), Bilges, fire fighting and fresh water. Aft and outboard on each side are the two calorifiers of 60 liters each (new in 2002). Large temperature and pressure gauges, together with 2 mini cameras are mounted in a manner that they can be viewed on the wheelhouse monitor. The six fuel tanks are located against the forward bulkhead and can be isolated individually. Prior to reaching the engine mounted filters, the fuel runs through twin Racor filters for either engine. To Port of the engine room door are 3 switch panels for operation of submergable bilge pumps (Manual / Off / Automatic). The pumps are located under the Master cabin bed, the after end of the engine room and under the Aft Guest cabin bed. (A fourth submergible pump is installed in the Lazzerette bilge, and is wired for automatic operation only). In 2007, the heat exchangers together with the oil coolers for both engines were removed, examined and re installed. The floorplates were renewed in 2002 and manufactured out of checkerplate aluminium of 5 mm. All underwater seacocks were either renewed or overhauled in 2002, and re checked in 2005 (see note at end of specification). THE TEAK LAID DECK is well equipped with the following equipment: Lofrans Titan 2000 Watt windlass (overhauled 2002). This windlass may be operated from either deck-mounted switches, a hand remote control or from switches in the wheelhouse and on the flybridge. A danforth anchor is equipped with approximately 100 meters of ½" (12.5 mm) chain. A spare anchor is housed in the Lazzerrett on the end of 50 meters of rope and a short length of chain. A teak deck locker (new in 2002) houses various warps and mooring lines. There are 2 cleats forward, 2 amidships and 2 aft. Lofrans mooring capstans are mounted on either quarter. All the deck is surrounded by 35 mm stantions and hand hail. Large sun bathing cushions are laid forward of the windscreen. THE LAZARETTE is reached through a hatch at the Starboard quarter, and in which are located various spare parts, the Stern Thruster motor (Vetus 160 new in 2002. This unit operates off the engine starter batteries), together with two battery chargers for the service and starting batteries. Also in this area are the electro / mechanical drive unit for the passarelle and the receiver for the remote control of same (new 2001). An HRO Reverse Osmosis system is housed to Port of this space. The two main fire extinguisher cylinders are also housed in this area as is the spare anchor. THE AFT DECK is equipped with a folding table, which can seat up to 8 persons. The folding chairs for this table are located in various areas of the vessel together with folding stools. Overhead lighting illuminates the aft deck and both side decks. An electro hydraulic Passarelle is fitted centrally through the transom and is operated either from local switches or from key ring type radio controlled remote units. The Passerelle when retracted, stows in the Lazzerette and partially in the gap below the aft deck and the ceiling of the aft cabin. Located either side of the large stainless steel / glass saloon access are lockers. In the Port locker there are controls for emergency engine stop (separate), fuel shutoff (separate), Air shutoff (separate), and a 4 kilo hand held fire extinguisher.
