| The Kalik 33 is a popular ship because of the good sail performance, the very nice interior and the beautiful design. The Kalik 33 which we offer has beside that also an enormous refit undergone in 2007.
At outside this yacht looks great. The hull is sparkling white and in combination with the recent overhauled teak decks gives it a great look. The underwater ship has is entirely redone in 2007 and treated with epoxy to give osmosis no chance. The very nice, teak finished, cockpit offers more than sufficient space and an excellent seat when the boat leans over under sail. The low superstructure which fluently emerges from the fore deck is just like the rest of the decks fitted with teak. This makes this Kalik already look fast just laying in port.
The interior is spacious and has a practical lay out. The galley at port side is nicely wide and offers all necessary comfort. At starboard are the large chart table and the pilot bed. The saloon offers much comfortable space to sit and a social atmosphere. Behind the starboard bench is an extra bunk which can be made into extra cupboard space. The head is in the front section of the ship, in the passage to the forepeak. Here you’ll find a 2 person V-shaped bed.
The entire ship has a nice nautical atmosphere and a beautiful teak floor. (mostly plain teak so maintenance free). There are a couple of moist spots at the saloon entrance which are just optically, beside that the wood looks fine.
All in all this Kalik has good sail performance, has had some large maintenance work done in 2007 like the teak deck overhauled, large engine inspection and epoxy on the underwater ship. You can be sure of many years of great sail pleasure without much necessary maintenance. We are happy to invite you for a visit at this Kalik 33 in Willemstad. |
