Bandera alemana. Tratamiento anti-osmosis en 2000. teca en cubierta año 2000. Esta embarcación es diseño de Bill Luders y fue construida por astilleros Cheoy Lee en China. Su condición de velero de Alta Mar lo ha hecho popular entre los patrones en las últimas décadas.
Su diseño, y el acabado de la madera lo asocian a la época clasica de la navegación a vela, por eso a estos barcos se los denomina como “Espíritu de la Tradición”.
Su propietario actual, ha sido su único propietario desde 1979 y durante todos estos años ha procurado mantener el barco en excelentes condiciones. Ha disfrutado de su navegación y también en ocasiones el barco ha participado en regatas como la del “Trofeo Almirante Conde de Barcelona” donde obtuvo el Primer Premio en la categoría “Espíritu de la Tradición” en 2001, y resultó ganador del “Trofeo Fundación Hispania” Segundo Clasificado-Premio Especial a la Conservación. |
