Located in Forked River, New Jersey, this Islander 32 is an awesome sloop rigged with tons of potential for coastal cruising! She has room to sleep 6 and is a beefy, comfortable, and stable sailing vessel.
For motoring about, this islander is powered by a reliable 18HP Yanmar 2GM20F fresh water cooled inboard that fires right up and runs smoothly.
There is plenty of room on deck for cruising by a couple or small family. Down below, the 11' beam provides for a spacious cabin with 6'2" of headroom. Spacious enough for a liveaboard! Known for its spaciousness, comfort, and ample storage down below, the interior is a major reason for the 32-2's popularity. The dark teak and first rate workmanship, and large portlights give the cabin a bright, classic look.
The V-berth holds a double bed with storage underneath. A good sized hanging locker to port and the head to starboard. The saloon has two settees - one converts to a single berth, the other to a double. The L-shaped galley features a two-burner gimballed stove, an insulated icebox, a single sink, and good counter space for meal prep.

The deck and cockpit feel solid. The gelcoat is oxidized and in need of cleaning/waxing. The stanchions and standing rigging all feel solid and appear to be in very good condition. The running rigging appears to be in serviceable condition. The engine looks very clean. The cushions and upholstery in the cabin is in very good condition. The teak flooring has been covered with Seadek. The owner reports that the sails are in good condition. The canvas sail covers, Bimini, and dodger are in very good condition. The owner recently installed a Garmin GPSMap XSV Chartplotter.
