Custom LIVEABOARD Pilothouse Cutter built in Nova Scotia with Tons of Upgrades
Is now the time to go cruising to Hawaii and Points South? Or you might want to live inexpensively on the water.
If so, then this well-kept classic cruiser is for you. All you need is food and clothing to get out there in this 1980 Corbin 39 Pilothouse cutter-rigged cruiser.
The comfortable salon will be great to hang out during those wet days on the water. There is a nice small TV, DVD player, radio, and oh, yes, a small Cruisaire MX2 heat pump for the hot days!
Imagine having 2 watermakers, a compressor fridge, oven, and microwave, in a nice setee area.
The deck is nice and flat for laying out in the sun and handling one of the 4 anchors or handling the 125 or 150 genoas.
Plenty of sails including the genoas, full batten Dacron main, a dacron Staysail, and a gennaker.
The rigging includes: Harken Series 2-286 roller furler on the forestay
- Forespar Ultra whisker pole
- Soft boom vang, 4-part purchase
- Hinged mast tabernacle
- Quick release inner forestay
- Running backstays, 7X19 stainless steel wire, 4-part tackle
- Lazy Jacks
- Harken 8:1 mainsheet

The outside is very nice with just a little bit of river dirt. The deck does show some small stress cracks normal for a boat of this age. Inside there are many updated items like a headliner, cushions, and mattress.
