The Nauticat 42 is a spacious true sail anywhere model from the Nauticat range. The helm is cleverly set on the port midship nice and sheltered from the elements by the sprayhood. From this position outside you have all-round views and are nicely protected in all conditions.

With new sails, rigging and every system on board having been serviced or replaced since we bought her five years ago she is in true sail-away and around-the-world condition. Most of the interior wood has also been revarnished. A full equipment refit of £70,000 not including labour has been carried out on Seraphina.

It is a boat that we have sailed in all weather conditions and that I have complete confidence in irrespective of what the seas throw at us. From channel crossings in December to sailing through to rough weather in the North Sea and more pleasant passages and time in the med. When I put my head down during a passage and my partner is on watch I sleep like a log.

There are no other boats quite like these Nauticats.

Seraphina is a rare three cabin layout with a comfortable 1.5 berth cabin under the saloon table and a forepeak cabin in addition to the huge owners cabin. She is a joy to own and sail and has brought us more happiness than I could have imagined a boat could.
