Boat Details
Description
Anarchy is a lovely looking, blue hulled boat offering a perfectly blended mix of more traditional styling on a modern, stable and fast hull shape. She underwent a mini re-fit including new standing rigging, rudder dropped out/checked, vinyl wrap of topsides, new batteries, electronics and sail drive gaiter in 2021. She also had new sails, canvas work and was fully re-upholstered in 2023.
Constructed around an immensely strong galvanised steel cradle which takes the keel and rig loads, she supports a powerful rig which ensures that she moves smartly in light breezes. She is easily sailed both short handed, and with a family crew for extended cruising in real comfort. Below decks the satin mahogany finish, white headlining and new upholstery cushions in 2023, offer a warm and welcoming ambience.

More Details
Construction
- Vinylester sandwich construction, vacuum laminated with multiaxial glass fabric for stiffness and light weight. Core material is 20mm divinycell, solid laminate around keel, rudder and through hull fittings.
- Structured bulkheads - marine plywood securely bonded to hull and deck.
- Galvanised steel cradle takes the dynamic loads from the hull, keel, and rig.
- Bulbed lead/antimony keel for a low centre of gravity and a slim section mean that she is impressively stable.
Deck & Rigging
- The hull is light and rigid and the centre of gravity is low, allowing the 340 to carry a large rig: the main sail is 37.8sq m and the sail displacement ratio is 23.2.
- New standing rigging in 2021 and some new running rigging since, including new main halyard and main sheet and new genoa sheets.
- The mast is a Selden double spreader aluminium spar, keel stepped.
- The jib furler is a Selden sleek 200TD under deck furler.
