  1. The complete construction of a vessel for ecological port service, having the following characteristics:

  • The boat is equipped with life-saving appliances in accordance with article 35 of Navigation Law and with one VHF communication device.

 

More specifically, regarding point A., it is specified that:

 

  • The hull will be made of grade A steel plates as per our design.
  • Two rear floats will be constructed under the hull for greater thrust to the unit and to keep it aligned to the buoyancy; the new skids will be made of stainless steel sheet as well as part of the bottom of the engine compartment.
  • On the deck, two bronze or anodized lightweight alloy inspection ports will be installed for inspection of the lateral structural boxes.
  • The superstructure will be made of lightweight alloy 5083 H321, and the command bridge ceiling will be suitable for receiving the mast for the navigation lights, the command bridge cabin will be equipped with large windows and a side access area.
  • The upper part of the superstructure ceiling will be extended towards the stern with tubular profiles to contain the rescue atoll.
  • A propulsion system consisting of a marine IVECO engine of 230 Hp at 2800 rpm will be installed, complete with gearbox, shaft line, and a 4-blade bronze propeller with a diameter of approximately 680 mm.
  • Two bilge pumps will be installed for suction in various compartments and in the engine compartment.
  • One autoclave for fresh water at 12/24 V for the deck sink.
  • A deck hatch will be made aft of the command cabin for access to the engine compartment.
  • Structural boxes will be made in the engine compartment for the containment of diesel, hydraulic oil, dispersant, and a storage for various uses (drinking water).
  • The electrical system will be entirely made at 24V with power supply from the main batteries that will also start the main engine; the necessary navigation lights will be installed, and a 12/24/220V inverter of 1000 watts will be arranged.
  • A rubber fender will be installed around the hull on both sides in a D-shaped profile approximately 100mm high.
  • Protection railings will be installed according to your indications, as well as 4 lifting rings for the lifting of the vessel.
  • 6 mooring bollards will be installed.
  • A standard JOTUN painting cycle will be executed both internally and externally (dead work RAL 5010, live work anti-fouling black).
  • Upon completion of the work, the unit will be launched and all necessary functional tests will be carried out; the tests required by the Classification Authority for the navigability of the motorboat will also be performed.
  • The vessel will be delivered after tests conducted in the Port of Ancona, with the issuance of the relevant certification for national coastal navigation.
  • The VHF apparatus and the course compass to be installed inside the command bridge will be provided.

Disclaimer

Regarding the aforementioned point B, it is specified that the machines and equipment for special uses, not otherwise classified, can be identified as:

1) Equipment for the collection of solid and liquid waste, consisting of:

  • Hydraulic system for opening the box-shaped bow arms made of Aisi 316 stainless steel sheet
  • Central door and side doors of the suction tunnel equipped with a hydraulic opening/closing system
  • Flow diverter element of the propeller with hydraulic positioning, made of Aisi 316 stainless steel

2) Equipment for lifting and storing solid waste, consisting of:

  • Conveyor belt made of Aisi 316 stainless steel, powered by a hydraulic motor, hinged and movable by hydraulic pistons
  • Mobile basket for containing solid waste, hot-dip galvanized and characterized by a manual opening system at the bottom

3) Equipment for lifting and storing liquid pollutants, consisting of:

  • A gear pump for collecting liquid pollutants from inside the hull, located on the deck, at the bow P.C., on a base connected to a manually adjustable height positioning system
  • Storage tank for liquid pollutants, with a capacity of approximately 500 liters, located on the deck adjacent to the cabin, equipped with a top loading nozzle and a bottom discharge nozzle, complete with sealing valves

4) Equipment for the segregation of polluted water surfaces, consisting of:

  • Hydraulic-operated boom roller, located at the stern of the vessel (excluding the supply of booms)

5) Equipment for washing docks and breakwaters, consisting of:

  • A motor pump consisting of a 60 hp engine, air-cooled, and a pump from the company FORANI-PECORARI with a flow rate of approximately 65 mc/h, located in the engine compartment, complete with piping and valves for sea intake, as well as stern discharge, or for feeding the deck cannon
  • A minimax cannon installed on the deck

6) Hydraulic system serving the utilities mentioned in the previous points, consisting of:

  • Hydraulic pump driven by the power take-off of the main engine
  • Piping, valves, actuators, pistons, hydraulic motors, and supports, and anything else necessary for the complete operation of the machines and equipment listed in points 1 to 4.
  • Manual hydraulic pump, connected to the hydraulic system, capable of allowing the movement of the bow arms, the tunnel doors, and the flow diverter
