The vessel was originally built in 2005 as a high speed dive/snorkel vessel operating out of Port Douglas. The current owner purchased in 2011 and the vessel underwent a major mechanical, interior and external refit. Pods were installed on the transoms and bulbous bow arrangements were fitted. The entire foredeck and bridgefront area was modified and bridgedeck extended out to the sides. New fuel, water and sullage tanks have been installed. Structural work was carried out by Far North Fabrications, an experienced local boat building firm and was overseen by Peter Colley, an ex class surveyor. The accommodation has been completely reconfigured to luxury live aboard. The bridge deck cabin has ensuite bathroom facilities, the main deck cabins have shared facilities. The enginerooms are in new condition. Apart from the shafts and propellers all machinery is new. The vessel has been completely rewired with all new switchboards, control and alarm systems. Individual 12v and 240v bilge pumps are installed in each compartment. Cameras are in installed in void spaces. The vessel is provided with a modern range of electronic navigation and communication aids.
The vessel has been converted to a very practical but luxurious cruising or expedition vessel.
