"AMBITION" is a Judel/Vrolik designed, TP 52 that was a custom build by McConaghy (Australia) in 2011 and was raced as ‘All4One’ originally in the Audi Med Cup.
She had some outstanding results during her campaign as ‘All4One’ winning the Kings Cup Palma in 2012 and a 2nd overall in the 2012 final event in the Super Series.
Her outstanding results carried through with her next owner winning countless inshore regattas before being optimized for offshore racing and coming 2nd overall in the Transpac 2013.
"AMBITION" is one of the very few, offshore capable, modern TP's on the market today and although only raced inshore for the past 3 seasons, she has all the bells and whistles to tick inshore and offshore boxes.
An overhaul in late 2018, early 2019 make her turn-key for any of the big offshore races out there this year and with recent surveys on the boat to hand, shes ready roll.
Good volume on offer with AMBITION, considering she is a new design, which has typically moved away from any interior space.
Currently you can sleep 4 either side when racing, with perhaps an additional 2 on top of the sail stack.
There is good room aft, if an additional pipe cot wanted to be installed on both sides, taking it up to 5 sleeping in comfort.
Having seen so many of these boats now, the real stand out feature is the white painted surfaces below decks, which totally change the environment you are in - absolutely invaluable for offshore racing, even with a small weight penalty.

It was all hands on deck at McConaghy Boats in Sydney when they were commissioned to build the TP52 for Jochen Schümann and Stephane Kandler’s "ALL4ONE" syndicate.
Powered by the sponsorship from Audi this yacht was completed for the 2011 Med cup Circuit.
The yacht was masterly crafted by McConaghy Boats and is constructed from Pre-preg carbon and a Nomex core.
The yacht then went on to be known as "BEECOM" in the US and JPN, before heading for a stint in New Zealand, where she was further optimized.
When in New Zealand she was professionally maintained and optimized from some very experienced Kiwi yachters, including Americas Cup and Volvo campaigners.
Most recently sold to an AUS owner who has again added to the inventory and pushed the boat forward, particularly for offshore preparation.

Rudder New 2017 J/V rudder blade to developed PAC 52 designs - slightly shorter, but increased chord - large performance increase when reaching and more forgiving for an owner-driver.
In 2012 the boat was converted to a more offshore configuration and moved away from the all-inshore MED circuit, with a focus on IRC racing.
This included adding an additional forward full ring frame in the bow section and allowing for both a wheel and tiller configuration.
More recent upgrades includes an optimized rudder blade for increased grip and a lengthened bowsprit, to follow the curve to bigger downwind sail areas.
