LAGOON 50 TO BE BUILT BY LAGOON IN BORDEAUX, FRANCE
To provide a realistic idea of budget and based on our long experience in supplying and equipping private catamaran buyers, we have prepared a typical specification here for a new Lagoon 50 for long distance live aboard cruising.
In this case we have assumed a 3 cabin layout with a large "owner" cabin in the starboard hull , two cabins in the port hull and a berth in bow and 3 heads providing a great deal of comfort for extended trips afloat.
The equipment options have been selected to make the boat as easy to manage as possible by a short-handed crew. Despite her beam she is surprisingly easy to manage and many owners operate 50's without a professional skipper or crew. Should a crew be required they can conveniently be accommodated in the port bow compartment.
