This Beneteau First 38s5 is a performance yacht with a high standard of cruising comfort. Designed as a racer/cruiser by Jean Berret with a stunning interior finish by Philippe Starck. This popular two cabin owners version, with two heads, has dark mahogany veneers, contrasting with polished stainless steel and aluminium fittings making it modern, light and airy. Tulaichean II handles well and is responsive and fast. The deck is cleverly designed, with recessed roller-furler. Halyards and control lines lead aft under removable panels to the cockpit so that there is nothing to foul or trip over. A swim platform with ladder gives easy access into the water.
