Moody 419 is a well-known blue water capable center-cockpit, aft cabin cruising sailboat.
The Moody 419 is a well-known blue water-capable center-cockpit, aft cabin cruising sailboat. This Moody 19 cruised her family in the Eastern Caribbean and Florida for several years before hauling out in 2017. As a result of unforeseen circumstances, her current Argentinian owner is unable to return to the boat and is offering her for sale. The boat is priced as is, where is with all equipment and supplies on the boat.
This vessel has Raymarine electronics including a Raymarine ST60 depth sounder and a Raymarine ST6002 auto pilot. There is also a Furuno 1721 radar.
Sails include a fully battened mainsail, a furling genoa, and a Schaeffer trysail.
Also included is a Dometic portable 12/110 volt deep freezer and a Honda EU2000i generator.
Two 140-watt solar panels provide auxiliary power and the included electric windlass makes handling the ground tackle more manageable.
This Moody 419 needs some love, but somebody is going to return it to the great blue-water sailing vessel she was designed to be.

Please note that this Moody has not been in the water since 2017. The working condition of all mechanical and operational systems should be freshly evaluated by the buyer or a qualified marine surveyor. There is a chain plate on the port side that needs attention (see photos). There is also a number of places in the cabin where the headliner is coming down and needs to be repaired or replaced.
