The Noordkaper 29 Classic is designed by Martin Bekebrede. With the limited draught of only 1.05 meters, any kind of water is possible and the bilge keels allow the boat to fall dry easily. The interior is surprisingly spacious and has a headroom of approximately 1.95. There are 5 berths. The batteries have been renewed in 2017 and in addition, the lighting is largely LED.
The galley is equipped with fridge and (renewed) 3 burner hob. The pump toilet has been renewed in 2015.
Very solidly built. Flat bottom with 30 mm skin plate (weight approx. 1.5 tons) Low centre of gravity and extremely strong, so hardly any ballast is needed. The underwater hull is blasted and coated. Hull and superstructure are painted in 2 components and also the teak pot cover is completely renewed.
Gorgeous luxury carpentry. The spacious saloon with headroom has plenty of light through the cuckoo. Lots of solid teak and fitted with panel doors. The upholstery and curtains have been renewed in 2016. The gas comfort (2016) is extra secured. The Taylor oil stove is not only beautiful but also gives a pleasant radiant heat and makes no noise like a hot air heater.
The Yanmar engine will be newly built in 2017. The propeller is also renewed. The propeller has been adjusted and sharpened.
The mast was built in 2011 and placed on the Noordkaper in 2015. The rig has been renewed in 2015. The mast is equipped with a mast ironing installation. This makes the crawl height approximately 2 meters. The cover tent, covers and covers have been renewed in 2016 (sailmaker Molenaar).
