This project contemplates the purchase and conversion of an existing offshore supply vessel. Offshore supply vessels are built to a high specification in terms of their seaworthiness and reliability (and redundant) systems. They are expected to be on-station offshore for extended periods and capable of operating in extreme weather conditions. They carry full operational crews. All aboard require a comfortable and safe work environment that complies with international maritime standards. They must be able to maintain themselves at sea with workshops and spares. The expectation is that they will only need to return to port for scheduled maintenance. This vessels has open deck, high load-bearing space aft of the wheelhouse and crew areas that can be re-purposed. Some of these are the areas where the new owner and guest accommodations other facilities may be built. The hull interior houses dry bulk and liquid mud tanks with pumping machinery. these spaces can be re-apportioned. The power plants and systems are carefully engineered to be serviceable and economical to operate over an extended service life.
