1967 36' USN Launch LCLP set up for assistance towing and sportfishing!

This is a fully restored USN fiberglass boat designed and built as unsinkable with a hull inside a hull with flotation material between.

The boat has been used as a TOWBOAT US assistance towing boat and is currently being used for sport fishing.

The boat is powered by a Caterpillar 3208-DITA 10.4L V8 diesel engine with a Hurth Marine direct-drive transmission.

There is an enclosed center wheelhouse where the main helm is located, and there is a walkaround self-bailing deck with a non-skid surface.

It is loaded with electronics and gear that includes a Raymarine RayMic-240 VHF, Raymarine RAY-430 Loud Hailer, Ritchie 5" Compass, 2 Raymarine G120 multifunctional displays, Raymarine AIS 500 Transceiver, SiriusXM Satellite Marine Weather Receiver, FLIR Infrared Night Vision Camera, 2 Raymarine GPM 400 navigation computers, Raymarine ST8002 Smart Pilot Autopilot, Raymarine 4 N open array with a VCM 100 control unit, 2 Raymarine GPS, Raymarine GPS/Chartplotter, Raymarine CP 370 Depth Sounder/Fish Finder, and a Raymarine ST60 Digital Depth Display.

The engine house is just aft of the wheelhouse and opens from the top with a clamshell-style cover.

Aft of the engine house is a tow bit extending into the hull and is also designed to be used as a lifting point when loading for transport. There is another lifting point forward of the wheelhouse. The mast can be lowered via a knuckle at the base for transport.

There is an aft-end sliding door leading into the wheelhouse and cabin below. The helm sports very nice dual-cockpit black leather seats with the controls and instruments accessible from either seat. Stairs lead down the lower cabin, and there there are bench seats on either side of the midship table.
