Beautiful Cruiser!! Ready to Set Sail!! Roller Furling Mainsail!!
Paint the bottom and splash her and this 1990 Jeanneau Sun Magic 44 is ready to go anywhere.
She boasts a very spacious interior layout with three cabins and two heads. The forward berth is large and has lots of storage. The forward head includes a separate shower to port and the toilet to starboard.
There is an L-shaped galley and, across from the galley, a very large table and benches where seven people can fit without being embarrassed. Aft of the galley is the chart table, the electrical panel, and the entrance to a very spacious starboard quarter berth that includes space for two to sleep comfortably...and it has a sink as well.
On the centerline is the ladder to the cockpit and to port is the aft head - a wet head with separate entrances from the port quarter berth and the main salon. The port quarter berth is also very spacious and can easily accommodate two adults.
Up top, two lockers as a seat for the helmsman and there are two smaller spaces hidden under the benches. The gangways are wide and clear of chainplates and genoa tracks. The genoa tracks are fixed against the deckhouse, and do not impede traffic.
The anchor locker is equipped with an electric windlass and can accommodate two anchors. Ground tackle includes a CQR 45#, a Danforth 39# (never used), and a Danforth 10# (for the dinghy).
Sail inventory includes 2 mainsails (1 only used for 2 months) and a 130% Genoa. Both the main and the Genoa ride on roller furling systems.
When not under sail she is powered by a 55 HP Yanmar diesel with only 2360 hours.
Navigational electronics include: Raymarine 78e Hybrid Touch; Garmin GPSmap 78sc; Standard Horizon VHS w/AIS & GPS; Handheld Cobra VHS Mod#MR HH125; and an Autohelm. All of the nav electronics listed, except for the Autohelm, have only been in use for about 3 months.
Included is a 6 HP Mercury 4-stroke outboard (new in 2012), and a 9' aluminum bottom Hypalon RIB. Dinghy is stored deflated in its storage bag below.
Electrical generation and storage include two 87W Kyocera solar panels, a Vanner Series 20 inverter, one 12V starter battery (new in 10/2022) and four Duracell model EGC2 6V batteries.
