2019 Melges IC37
Introducing "ICY" the Melges IC37 from Mark Mills.
This mid-sized, all rounder is highly capable in class racing, IRC, ORCi and ORR and has an awful lot to offer the discerning racer.
The thought process for the IC37 was always to put the power back into the hands of the owner, on a platform that offers that big boat feel, but with a design that is easy to maintain and doesn't require huge owner and crew input, particularly financially.
The IC37 fills a substantial gap in the market for those sailors that are looking for fun, fast sailing, with potent rating performance and most importantly ease of use…………. Welcome to the IC37 by Melges.
In her first two seasons ICY has achieved a huge amount of success, with Cowes Week class victory overall, as well as sister ships winning under ORCi and ORR in the USA.
The One Design class also goes from strength to strength and ICY is available considerably below new build costs, with the benefit of two keel design options, including new, reduced chord and lighter bulb setup, suited to handicap racing.
