    Yacht suited to extensive offshore blue water sailing either short-handed or full crew.

    Very well constructed by Henri Wauquiez in 1987 to a high standard.
    Designed by Ed Dubois along traditional lines but elevated to a higher level by the construction and fitting out. Well maintained, afloat and currently moored in Brighton on the Ancasta Sales Pontoon.
    Used as a live-aboard over the last 15 months in the Caribbean having crossed the Atlantic from the Netherlands in 2018 and back to the UK in 2019. Saloon, two double cabins, two heads, holding tank, shower, galley, navigation station, hot and cold water, heating, fridge/freezer, lots of storage. Full standing headroom throughout, owner is 6’2”. Many extras and lots of equipment. Set up for ease of handling with all ropes coming back to the cockpit and ease of living with a comfortable interior. If your plans are for sailing far and wide in comfort and security without spending too much money, this boat is definitely one to consider.
    Inventory
    COCKPIT
    Raymarine Axiom 9 inch touchscreen chartplotter (2018), installed on the binnacle. This brand new chart plotter is connected to the NMEA 2000 network on the boat which feeds all instrument data as well as AIS and GPS information. The Axiom with Navionics charts allows for smart and very easy route plotting. It is also is connected to the AIS as well as the radar
    Raymarine Quantum Radar (2018). This digital lightweight solid state radar is very low in power consumption and provides outstanding radar imaging on both long and short ranges. The radar is currently connected through its wireless connectivity with the chartplotter but this model allows for direct cabled connection as well
    Raymarine i70s instruments with two digital colour displays (2018).
    Vesper XB-8000 smart AIS transponder with wifi and NMEA 2000 gateway. This AIS transponder allows you to integrate any NMEA 0183 data into the NMEA 2000 network. It makes all the information available on its own wireless network to connect any other device to and display the data. Currently the boat computer running OpenCPN is connected to this as well as some tablets. There is a dedicated VHF antenna installed for the AIS rather than a splitter on the main

    NAVIGATION STATION
    Boat computer dedicated to navigation (and entertainment). Mini solid state computer with 15 inch LED screen directly connected to the boat’s 12v switch board. Computer runs OpenCPN (passage planning, tracking, etc), zyGrib, qtVlm, SASPlanet, GE2KAP, Google Earth, etc.
    Garmin GPS and route plotter. This is also connected to the VHF radio to give the radio GPS information.
    Navman 7100 VHF/DSC radio. GPS information in radio from Garmin as above.

    Target HF SSB radio receiver

    Second Garmin GPS (with second Garmin antenna on the stern). Can be used as back-up GPS. This is also connneced to the Navtex and feeds it GPS information.

    Navtex (with Navtex antenna on the stern). Can be used as conventional weather Navtex or switched to navigation mode and, combined with second Garmin GPS above, functions as GPS and chartplotter as emergency back-up.

    AUTO-PILOT
    Robertson AP300X auto-pilot: remote control is on a long lead and can be operated from the cockpit, navigation station and saloon. Fluxgate compass and electronic control box mounted in the aft cabin.

    LIGHTS
    Full range of bow, stern and masthead navigation lights, all with LED light bulbs for reduced power consumption

    4 x 225ah 6V Trojan T105 domestic batteries (2018), connected in series and parallel for 450ah 12v domestic deep-cycle bank

    CONSTRUCTION
    Well constructed to a high standard by the French boat builder Henri Wauquiez in 1987: the Wauquiez reputation was for quality construction and this boat is a good example.

    The "Shoal" lead fin (large amount of lead at the bottom of the fin) means the fin is shorter and gives a smaller draft.

    SET UP FOR SHORT HANDED SAILING

    Lines led aft:
    Six lines and jammers in cockpit above saloon: main halyard, mainsheet, second genoa halyard and reefs 1-3

    Backstay: as part of masthead rigging and to give further control over the mainsail, there is a stainless steel adjustable backstay with tensioner operated by a winch handle in the cockpit.
    There are also port and starboard running backstays leading to the cockpit to tension the spars and mast when the staysail is tensioned and in choppy seas.

    Walder Boom Brake (2012) (prevents boom doing fast and sudden jibes - moves slowly from side to side). The Walder boom brake replaced the kicker. The tackle for the kicker is on board and it can be reinstated by a future owner if required.

    Aft cabin via door off the galley with large and comfortable double berth (1.95m length), wood paneling, lots of storage and many lockers.
    Mains electrical socket and two countertops.
    Two windows to cockpit and one to deck.

    SALOON
    Saloon with U-shaped dinette and straight settee opposite.
    All upholstery in good condition and high quality fabric.
    All cushion covers removable and machine washable and with velcro backing to keep them in place.
    Large dining table with two drop leaves between the two settees.
    U-shaped can be double berth and straight is single berth. (2.15m length berth)

    Wood paneling to the sides of the saloon give many lockers, shelves and storage areas as well as a mirrored drinks cabinet. two mains sockets, windows to deck, hatch to deck, strong wooden grab rails, wall-mounted speakers with matching wooden boxing for the radio player, brass clock and barometer on wooden mount.

    Below the saloon seating is storage. Approximately 40% is taken up by two water tanks, the water pressure pump system and piping and the electric bilge pump and piping, but the rest is available as storage.
    Additional lockers behind the settee seating backs.

    NAV TABLE
    Comfortable navigation station with cushions to match saloon, full-size desk with hinged lid, switch panel and other electrical items and navigation items listed below, windows to deck with curtains, two red lights, Sony radio/cassette(connected to saloon wall-mounted speakers).
    Fire extinguisher, fire blanket, waterproof torch, inverter are also here.
    Shelving to the side with more items such as 12 volt plug multiple adaptors, very bright light, fog horns, European flags and much more.

    FORWARD HEADS
    Forward heads with toilet, stainless steel wash basin, teak countertop, hot and cold mixer, two hinged mirror cabinets with lots of storage, windows to deck and small hatch.
    Teak lattice floor with sump below to enable washing and spilling of water.
    Marine first aid kit in box on bulkhead.

    Diverter valve to enable the toilet to be emptied either into the holding tank or directly discharge into the sea.
