The Beneteau Oceanis Clipper 343 packs a huge amount of accommodation into a compact space and creates a spacious but easy to handle sailing yacht that has room for all the family but with all the benefits of cost effective mooring and maintenance that a 34ft boat provides. This particular example has been well looked after with lots of recent upgrades and with a fresh coat of anti-foul will be ready to take you exploring the Greek Islands this summer.
A recent incident meant that it was necessary to replace the engine, navigation instruments, electronics and much more. The current owner has now decided to upgrade to a larger boat so this means the lucky new owners will get the benefit of all this new equipment! Don't miss this superb opportunity!
We hold a copy of a positive recent condition report from an independent surveyor but the current owner welcomes buyers to commission their own full survey before purchase. Lua Lua is currently out of the water in Preveza and ready for inspection.
NEW Yanmar 3YM30AE Engine
NEW Raymarine instruments
NEW Raymarine Axiom Chartplotter
NEW Raymarine VHF
NEW Victron Charger & Solar Controller
Sails from 2015 2 seasons use
NEW Refrigerator compressor
Although Lua Lua has been used as a flotilla boat, all the systems that may have been considered to have been worked hard are now new and all equipments aboard are current, up to date models (Plotter, VHF, instruments etc).
The original specification of the boat was well considered for warm climate sailing, with a large top loading fridge compartment, to avoid cold air loss which occurs with a front opener.
All hatches open on aft hinges to aid air flow and we have a wind scoop which is invaluable, particularly when lying to anchor. Total water capacity (3 tanks) and the Vectron solar panel and inverter enables good self sufficiency so no need to hunt out a 220v socket. There is a good length of shore power cable with an extension for when you want those volts.
This boat has the 2 line reefing system, with 2 winches at forward end of cockpit. Having sailed this model with the alternative, single line, single winch, we found the 2 line system preferable. There is a cruising chute, by Hyde Sails, coloured red ,white and blue, together with a snuffer and associated blocks and sheets. This has only had occasional use by the vendors , and is in very good condition. The Genoa, with a blue UV strip, has recently been fitted with a new leech line during an end of season service by Waypoint sails. The mainsail is in good, serviceable condition and is fitted with full length battens and two slab reefing points. There is a blue acrylic “stack pack” zipped sail cover, making sail dropping and stowage a simple matter even if sailing short handed.
An easily handled boat that sails well and falls in the more economical Greek cruising tax bracket which is currently €33 per month.
