Thanks to its classic lines and yet robust appearance, the Vri-Jon Classic is a striking appearance. With a very high level of equipment, the Classic is a ship for longer stays on board and making long journeys. In the design of the Classic, we looked for a ship without concessions. Safety, ease of navigation and accommodation on board were the starting points. Comfortable travel over rivers and coastal water was the goal. Quality, in construction, equipment and finishing, was a requirement. That led to the Vri-Jon Classic. The ship will be built in 5 mm thick sheet steel and fitted with wide gangways without level differences. The high sea rail and details such as heavy-duty bollards and the substantial cable herring all around make the ship a globetrotter par excellence. Within this concept, the design department of DSA Yachts has created an interior with plenty of interior space, headroom and generously proportioned sofas and cabins. The separate cabins with their own sanitary facilities are extremely practical. All systems on board are generously proportioned and the high level of equipment makes the Classic even more luxurious. The Classic design line has no less than four versions, from 40 to 50 feet.
Strimming: Strimming is essential for an optimal result with every paint system, and with us every new ship to be built gets this treatment.
In the basic version our ships are already very fully equipped, of course you can use all kinds of options to customize your ship to your own wishes and thus provide all the comforts. With our many years of experience and the construction of more than 250 ships, we are happy to help you make the right choices.
Segregation transformer: Metal hulls (steel, aluminium) can suffer from extreme galvanic corrosion due to a potential difference between the ship's earth (the hull) and the shore earth, also because the earth conductor connects the ship to other ships or to a steel sheet pile wall. In this situation, an isolation transformer is used to create an onboard earth that is not connected to the shore earth. At DSA Yachts this system is applied by default.
