This Nelson 42 MK II has been built to the highest possible standards by Bucklers Hard Boat Builders and has been lovingly maintained since, on the basis of no expense spared. Comprehensive maintenance records, manuals and a well-stocked spare parts inventory are available. She is a classic design with remarkable sea-keeping qualities.

Powered by twin Caterpillar 3116TA turbo intercooled marine diesel engines boasting 350 hp each. Paired with conventional 2“shafts with PSS seals, driving four-bladed 25” x 24” Equipoise propellers. Making the boat capable of a max speed of 21 knots and a cruising speed of 17 knots. There are also 3 CCTV cameras in engine room (2 monitoring the PSS seals and 1 with general view of the engine room). And with bow and stern thrusters installed, berthing couldn’t be easier.

Up on the top deck, you will find FlexiTeak flooring, two tables both with seating and under seat storage, double helm seat with and single navigator seat. At the upper helm you have all the same navigation equipment and engine controls that’s at the lower helm.

The accommodation on the Nelson is spacious enough for the whole family and finished to the highest standard with quality elm veneers and ash hardwood trim. With 2 spacious double berths forward and aft, both with ensuite heads compartments. A full galley with hot and cold water, a roomy dinette area and diesel heating throughout the boat.
