The open plan accommodation offers up to four berths. In the forecabin, V berth with infill and marine toilet under. This is not a full length adult berth, but would be fine for children (or short people!). There is an opening hatch to deck and marine toilet under the berth. In the main part of the cabin there are two full length settee berths, with stowage under, and two full length stowage shelves above. There is sitting headroom in the saloon. There is a small chart table to starboard, with the same arrangement opposite which could be used for a portable stove if required. There is a wet hanging space by the chart table with a hot air vent. Eberspacher diesel fired hot air central heating.

Located under the companionway, Beta Marine twin cylinder 10hp diesel engine. Electric start. Seawater cooled. Shaft drive to three bladed feathering propeller. Built in 1968 to the standard Folkboat design. Red painted GRP hull. Teak rubbing strake. GRP ring deck with moulded non-slip and varnished mahogany superstructure. Long keel with cast iron ballast. Keel hung rudder. Tiller steering. Aft cockpit (not self draining).
The composite construction of Redwych gives the ambience of a classic wooden boat with the convenience of a GRP hull. The coachroof extends forward of the mast, which with the deck-stepped aluminium mast gives better headroom and space down below than the standard design. Most importantly, the marine heads forward is straightforward to use. The deck-stepped mast is also easier to step, and being shorter than the keel-stepped equivalent, is easier to transport. In addition it has aft lower shrouds giving additional offshore security. She is equipped with a below-deck headsail furler and lazyjacks for the mainsail with all lines led back to the cockpit, making singlehanded sailing very easy. An inboard diesel gives plenty of grunt and reliability to get you home when the wind dies and an electric anchor windlass with a long wander-lead makes raising the anchor from the cockpit really simple. In short, a simple, well sorted craft with pretty lines and go anywhere capability.
