SERIOUSLY FOR SALE: The HALMATIC 44 is one of those iconic hull designs established from a long line of purpose-built commercially operated vessels from this well known stable. They operate around the world in many differing applications but the Pilot version typifies the success of the marque and their accomplishments in the field of pilot transfer are legendary. 'PATHFINDER' is one of two H44's operated initially by Trinity House and subsequently ESL (Port of London Auth.) serving the southern North Sea area. There is a good history of refit work available. Her sistership 'Polorus' operates pilot operations at Newhaven Harbour. Currently MCA Coded to Cat. 2 (60 MSH). Extensive refit - Phone number removed -

    Owner Comments
'We always wanted to own a serious offshore craft and in particular a Halmatic because of their history and reputation. When we acquired 'Pathfinder' she was in the process of a refit which we undertook to complete with the firm intention of bringing her up to Coding standard which she now is. We hope she will again serve for what she was designed to do - a sea going craft that can cope with anything the weather determines.'
    Broker Comments
'This vessel appears to be in excellent order and the current ownership has carried out significant improvements to bring her back into Code. We see no reason why she should not continue her role as a pilot tender as she has all the attributes associated with the demands that operation requires. These craft were built for longevity and 'Pathfinder' is an excellent example of British boat building prowess.'
