The Eos offers a rare balance of living space and performance, combining the sensations of a fast multihull with a family cruising program. Well-handled and lightweight, it will provide much pleasure to a knowledgeable crew. The quality of passage through the sea and the balance of this agile platform is striking.
On the EOS 54, there is a single centerboard well in the center of the float, almost on its axis, longer so that it goes deep down. This eliminates the turbulence zone at the surface, as seen on catamarans whose centerboard, glued to the hull, dives just at the waterline.
For the interior finishes, no lining, but white paint or, in terms of detail, the tiller ropes (textile) visible in the aft cabins.
A major strong point of the boat is the aft cabins with very large glass surfaces both on the sides and on the transom. Light comes in everywhere, and these cabins are really very bright.
The Eos 54 is a modern and successful catamaran.
